Carlisle & Gallagher Consulting Group, a Charlotte-based company that serves the financial services industry, will be acquired by NTT Data Inc., an information services provider based in Plano, Texas. The combined company’s new headquarters will move to Plano.
All 380 of the Carlisle & Gallagher employees in the Charlotte metro area will retain their jobs when the deal closes, Melody Callaway, Carlisle & Gallagher’s public relations manager, told the Observer Monday morning.
The local company’s new name will be Carlisle & Gallagher Consulting Group Inc., an NTT DATA Company, Callaway said. CG will continue operating as a separate legal entity for the “foreseeable future,” she added.
“This transaction is about the strategic growth of the combined companies,” Callaway said. “We foresee expanding our footprint in all of the cities in which we do business today, including Charlotte.
CG currently has offices in Charlotte, Dallas, New York, Chicago, Phoenix, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Jacksonville, Fla.
In a statement released Monday, NTT Data said the deal will strengthen its ability to “provide a full set of lifecycle consulting and IT services” for its clients in North America and around the world.
Terms of the deal were not immediately available. The acquisition is subject to regulatory approvals and is expected to close next quarter.
“NTT DATA’s broad IT services portfolio and expertise, along with its innovation and global reach, will enable CG to fully support our client needs,” Bob Gallagher, president and CEO of Carlisle & Gallagher, said in the statement.
