More townhomes underway in Plaza Midwood

The Pulte Group expects residents to begin moving in to its Midwood Square townhomes at Lamar and Sunnyside avenues this fall.

The company began construction in the spring on the 34 three- to four-story Plaza Midwood townhomes.

The two models of townhomes will be 2,375 square feet and up. Prices for the three bedroom, three and half bath will start in the high $300,000s.

“We have already had an overwhelming response with our pre-selling efforts, which indicate high demand for new townhome construction in the Plaza Midwood area,” said Jon Cherry, division president of Pulte Group - Charlotte.

It’s about 1.5 miles from Uptown Charlotte and there are numerous bars, restaurants, convenience stores and a Harris Teeter within walking distance.
