Ralph Lauren store opening at Phillips Place this fall, marking a first in NC
A Ralph Lauren clothing store will be the next high-end retailer to set up shop at Phillips Place in SouthPark, the mall announced on Wednesday.
The 4,608-square-foot store opening in late September will be Ralph Lauren’s first standalone location in the state, according to Phillips Place. Collections included in the store will be Ralph Lauren Home, Women’s Collection, Men’s Purple Label and Polo Ralph Lauren.
The mall’s co-owner, Highland Park Village Management, is an upscale retail developer. The company took over Phillips Place leasing, marketing and property management last year, according to Phillips Place.
The new Ralph Lauren store is a part of Phillips Place’s push to bring more luxury brands to the Charlotte market, Highland Park Village Managing Director Stephen Summers said.
More stores coming to Phillips Place
Phillips Place is a mixed-use shopping center that opened in 1997 as a European village-style center featuring retail, residential and entertainment.
It features shopping, dining and a hotel, which was recently bought by SouthPark mall and Concord Mills mall owner Simon Property Group.
Phillips Place announced other high-end retail tenants this year, including Alice + Olivia and Jenni Kayne, both opening in early fall.
Other new stores are Veronica Beard, women’s designer shoe Marmi and sports apparel brand Peter Millar.
