Average gas prices in Charlotte down 4 cents from last week
Drivers in Charlotte and beyond are paying a little less for gas this week compared with last week.
Below are the current gas prices of a gallon of unleaded gas according to auto group AAA, which surveys 120,000 stations across the country to determine average prices. Charlotte prices include the entire metro region, including Gastonia and Rock Hill.
According to AAA, gas prices have been falling nationwide for 13 days, the longest decline since January, and are lower in 43 states and the District of Columbia this week compared with last week. South Carolina continues to boast the cheapest gas in the U.S.
