These six stores are headed to SouthPark mall and Charlotte Premium Outlets this year

Several jewelry, apparel and accessory stores plan to open this year at two Charlotte shopping centers.

Six stores will be joining the retail lineup at SouthPark mall and Charlotte Premium Outlets this year, property owner Simon said Thursday. Simon also owns Concord Mills in Concord.

Here’s what’s coming:

At SouthPark mall

Gorjana will open in center court. Founded in Laguna Beach, California, over 15 years ago, Gorjana jewelry pieces are designed to be layered and personalized.

Swatch will open at the fountain court. The iconic Swiss brand specializes in watches and jewelry for men and women.

No opening timeframe was provided and Simon officials did not immediately respond to requests for comment Thursday.

At SouthPark mall, 50% of its stores are exclusive to Charlotte and 32% exclusive to North Carolina, Simon said. Other recent additions at SouthPark include Alexander McQueen, Balenciaga, and Chanel Fragrance & Beauty.

In December, pop artist and founder of the “Happy Art Movement” debuted his first North Carolina store, BRITTO retail store near Belk.
