Talbots has opened a new location in SouthPark.

The women’s clothing retailer is now in Morrison Place, where it occupies a 4,979-square-foot store. The soft opening took place June 28.

Earlier this year, it had closed its store at Specialty Shops SouthPark, which is just about half a mile from its new location. A spokesperson from Talbots told The Charlotte Observer the walkability and lifestyle-oriented shopping experience made it a good location for the company.
