Rock Hill shopping center adds new home decor store just ahead of the holidays

Just in time for holiday shopping season, HomeGoods will open a store in Rock Hill. The home decor retailer will go into the Manchester Village shopping center near the Regal Manchester movie theater.

HomeGoods will open at 548 John Ross Parkway on Nov. 20. That’s one of several large retail spaces in the shopping center, alongside T.J. Maxx which shares an ownership group with HomeGoods. The more than 32,000-square-foot HomeGoods will be open 8 a.m.-10 p.m. on Nov. 20, with typical hours of 9:30 a.m.-9:30 p.m. daily.

The store will have about 65 employees.

HomeGoods sells home decor at prices 20% to 60% less than full retail price, according to the company. Items include furniture, kitchenware, bedding, lighting, rugs, bathroom items, outdoor space and pet accessories.

There are more than 950 HomeGoods stores across the country. TJX Companies, the owner of five brands including HomeGoods, Marshalls and T.J. Maxx, has more than 5,100 stores in nine countries.

The nearest HomeGoods locations to the new Rock Hill store are at Promenade at Carolina Reserve in Indian Land, RiverGate Shopping Center in Steele Creek and Blakeney, near Ballantyne.
