Piedmont Natural Gas names new board member

Tom Pashley, president of Pinehurst Resort and Country Club, has become a director of Charlotte’s Piedmont Natural Gas.

Pashley has been at Pinehurst since 1996 and was named its president last October. He began his career in 1991 with the accounting firm Deloitte & Touche.

Piedmont also declared Tuesday a quarterly dividend on common stock of 33 cents a share. Bruce Henderson
