Charlotte law firm Robinson Bradshaw & Hinson elects new managing partner
Allen Robertson has been elected to serve as managing partner of law firm Robinson Bradshaw & Hinson in Charlotte.
Robertson’s new post took effect Monday. He succeeds Robert Griffin, who held the position for almost two decades. Griffin will remain with the firm.
Robertson joined Robinson Bradshaw in 1989. He focuses on public finance, and also assists with other matters including within the banking, health care and senior living industries. While managing partner, Robertson will continue to serve the firm’s public finance and corporate clients, the firm said in a statement this week.
Robertson has won a number of distinctions during his legal career, including recognition from Best Lawyers. Since 2012, Robertson has served on the firm’s board of directors and the firm’s recruiting, business development and inclusion committees.
A Morehead Scholar, Robertson received a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1985 and a J.D. from Harvard University in 1988.
