Law firm Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP on Monday announced the addition of two new partners to its Capital Markets practice group in Charlotte: Michael Mascia and Wesley Misson.

Both attorneys are former partners at Mayer Brown who have well-known practices in subscription credit facilities and fund finance, Cadwalader said in a statement. Both are also frequent speakers and authors on fund finance.

“Cadwalader has a long track record of anticipating client needs and evolving through financial industry changes; the addition of Mike and Wes is representative of this mindset,” Pat Quinn, the firm’s managing partner, said in a statement.

Cadwalader is a Wall Street firm that specializes in financial, securities and corporate law. With the addition of Mascia and Misson, the firm’s Charlotte office now has more than 50 attorneys.

To date in 2015, nine lateral partners and their teams have joined Cadwalader, the firm said. Notably, earlier this year, former U.S. Attorney Anne Tompkins joined Cadwalader as a partner in the White Collar Defense and Investigations practice.
