Denver-based Frontier Airlines is adding a new nonstop flight between Charlotte and Denver.

The flights between Charlotte Douglas International Airport and the Denver International Airport start March 16, Frontier said Tuesday. The flights will run seven days a week and will be operated on an Airbus A319 aircraft, which seats 138 passengers.

Among several others, the low-cost carrier also announced direct flights between Denver and Philadelphia Tuesday.

Frontier began service in Charlotte in early February 2014.
