PeraHealth, a provider of real-time clinical surveillance software alerting doctors and nurses earlier to serious health problems, named Ashley Wilkens, R.N., director of pediatric and clinical services.
The Charlotte office of McAngus Goudelock & Courie, a regional insurance defense law firm, added attorney Lucy Anderson to its litigation group.
Charlotte-based real estate development firm CitiSculpt hired Geoffrey Curme as chief financial officer, Dan Sterns as vice president of construction and Ryan Stemmer as development project manager. Eric Applefield was promoted to counsel-development associate.
Jenise Tate was hired as a senior relationship manager by Bank of America Merrill Lynch’s commercial banking team.
Lake Norman Marina hired Brett Bernhardt, CPA, as controller, and John Gillette to manage the company’s marketing initiatives and start their new boat club.
Messer Construction Co., a commercial construction manager and general contractor, hired three new employees for its Charlotte office: David Price, project engineer; Crystal Scott, project manager; and Paul Garbon, environmental, health and safety manager. Ehiaghe Akojie, project engineer, was transferred from the firm’s Cincinnati office to support renovation projects and work with Messer’s health care clients.
NRT LLC, the national residential real estate brokerage company, appointed Pauline Bennett president of Coldwell Banker United, Realtors in the Carolinas. She leads the company’s 16 offices and more than 620 sales associates in North and South Carolina.

The Lake Norman Carefree Boat Club, owned by Oana and Marc Graveline, was awarded the Customer Service Excellence Award for the third year in a row by the Carefree Boat Club. The Gravelines’ business, one of 40 clubs nationwide vying for the recognition, also won the 2014 Outstanding Performance Award.
Mark Merritt, who practices law at the firm of Robinson Bradshaw & Hinson in Charlotte, was sworn in as president-elect of the N.C. State Bar.
