iTek to move headquarters from Charlotte to Concord in October
iTek Corp. is moving its offices and manufacturing facility from Charlotte to larger facilities at Airport Industrial Park in Concord.
The move is expected to be completed by Oct. 1, the company said in a statement this week. It’s made possible by a three-year, 85 percent tax reduction for the company that the Concord City Council approved Monday.
The relocation and expansion are necessary given how much the company has grown over the last few years, according to iTek President John Rawlins.
The new facilities at 7075 Aviation Blvd. are 50 percent larger than iTek’s previous location in Charlotte, the company said. Its new spot is next to Amazon and Roush Fenway Racing.
iTek calls itself a “provider of commercial print and business solutions to businesses in a wide range of industries, including professional sports marketing, banking, education, biopharmaceutical, energy, manufacturing and advertising.”
