Employers look to hire hundreds at tech job fair at CPCC Friday
The North Carolina Technology Association will host a free tech job fair Friday at the Central Piedmont Community College Ballantyne Center.
Jobseekers from all skill sets are invite to attend the event, which runs from 8:30 a.m.-1 p.m., according to a statement from the tech nonprofit. Employers are looking to fill hundreds of positions, NCTA said, including in software development, IT, project management, cloud computing and marketing.
Employers to date at the event, which is called “Come Tech Out,” include AT&T, Delhaize America, LendingTree, The Hartford Financial Services, Vidant Health and more. Participating employers are posting openings on NCTA’s job board.
During the job fair, CPCC’s Computer Technology Institute will also host free workshops on Excel analytics, NCTA said. The college will also offer sessions focusing on building marketability through tech skills.
