Charlotte-based power equipment company hires new president

J.D. North America Corp., a Charlotte-based power equipment distributor, has hired Bill Faile as its new president.

Faile comes to J.D. North America after previously serving as the president of Generators and More, a generator company.

In 2014, the company moved operations from California to Charlotte. It imports and distributes outdoor power equipment such as engines, generators, power washers to retailers.

J.D. North America is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Jiangsu Jianghuai Engine Co. Ltd., which is a branch of Chongqing Doyen Holdings Group in Chongqing, China.
