Park West Barber School to open 2nd Charlotte location

Park West Barber School said Monday it plans to open its second location in Charlotte as the Durham-based business continues to expand.

The new Charlotte location is expected to open in December at 8925 J.M. Keynes Drive in Shoppes University Place shopping center in northeast Charlotte. The school’s other Charlotte location is at 3120 Wilkinson Blvd. in west Charlotte.

The new location will bring the total number of Park West Barber School campuses to six. One is in Herndon, Va. The remainder are in North Carolina.

Park West said the second Charlotte location is being opened to meet increasing demand for professional education for the barbering industry.

Corey Bell and Timothy McIntosh are partners in the company.
