Wells Fargo CEO receives stock grant worth $833,000
Wells Fargo CEO John Stumpf this week received restricted stock worth about $833,000, as part of his 2015 compensation, according to a securities filing Thursday.
Stumpf was awarded 17,326 shares on Tuesday, when the closing stock price was $48.10. Last year, he received a restricted stock grant worth about $1 million.
The grant is only a small piece of Stumpf’s total pay package, which will be disclosed in a proxy filing in coming weeks. In 2014, Stumpf received total compensation of $19.3 million.
San Francisco-based Wells Fargo has its largest employee base in Charlotte.
