Morgan Stanley announces new Charlotte wealth-management group
Morgan Stanley on Friday announced the formation of a new wealth-management team that will be based in Charlotte with a satellite office in Asheville.
Harbor Oak Group will have Charlotte offices in SouthPark at 6101 Carnegie Blvd., where other Morgan Stanley wealth-management teams currently operate. Harbor Oak will comprise financial advisers Mike Anderson, Gray Howard and Mike Hicks, and administrative assistants Sheila Waldrop and Tiffany Sims.
Morgan Stanley is a large Wall Street investment bank whose Charlotte operations are predominately in wealth management. Its other Charlotte office is at 6805 Morrison Blvd.
Harbor Oak’s focus will be on customized portfolio management strategies, with a concentration in small-business financial solutions and retirement income planning.
