Here are NC nursing homes and care centers with confirmed COVID-19 cases and deaths
The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services released data Monday about confirmed COVID-19 cases and deaths at congregate living facilities.
This release of information was in response to pressure by advocacy groups and news organizations, including The Charlotte Observer, The News & Observer and others across North Carolina seeking access to this public data.
The facilities with the 10 biggest outbreaks as of April 27 are:
- The Citadel at Salisbury - Rowan County - 144 cases - 10 deaths
- Pruitt Health Carolina Point - Orange County - 108 cases - 11 deaths
- Durham Nursing & Rehabilitation Center - Durham County - 95 cases - 7 deaths
- Five Oaks Manor Rehab - Cabarrus County - 74 cases - 6 deaths
- The Laurels of Chatham - Chatham County - 67 cases - 5 deaths
- Springbrook Nursing and Rehab - Johnston County - 65 cases - 7 deaths
- Pinehurst Healthcare and Rehab Center - Moore County - 65 cases - 3 deaths
- Louisburg Healthcare and Rehab Center - Franklin County - 62 cases - 14 deaths
- Grace Heights Health and Rehab - Burke County - 59 cases - 6 deaths
- Autumn Care - Mecklenburg County - 53 cases - 10 deaths
Below is a searchable database of confirmed cases, by location, of coronavirus and related deaths at nursing homes, residential care centers and other congregate living facilities. All COVID-19 cases are lab-confirmed.
Beginning May 1, DHHS says the data will be updated every Tuesday and Friday at 4 p.m.
