A story on 22A Sunday incorrectly said that retiring Lutheran Bishop Leonard Bolick of the N.C. Synod has served longer than any other current bishop in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. The denomination’s longest-serving bishop is the Rev. Steven Ullestad, who has served the Northeastern Iowa Synod since 1992, five years longer than Bolick.
