Police: Rowan County hunters discover human remains
Two bow hunters came across what are believed to be human remains Saturday evening near High Rock Lake, the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office said.
Police continued an investigation Sunday into the discovery, which was made about 5 p.m. near the intersection of Bringle Ferry Road and River Road.
WBTV, the Observer’s news partner, reported that authorities have determined the decomposed remains belonged to an adult human.
