A pickup truck struck the front of Shepherds Fire and Rescue Station 1 in Mooresville Sunday morning, fire officials said.

The crash happened just before 11 a.m. at 2014 Charlotte Highway.

The vehicle caused damage to the building and to at least one firetruck parked inside the station.

One person refused medical treatment, according to fire officials.
