Truck crashes into home near Rockwell, two hospitalized
A pickup truck plowed into a house in Rowan County Wednesday evening, sending two people to the hospital, reports the Observer’s news partner WBTV.
It happened around 5:30 p.m. in the 10100 block of Old Beatty Ford Road, in the Rockwell community.
Officials say a Toyota Tundra ran off the road and crashed into the side of the home. Two people in the truck went to the hospital. Their conditions have not been released.
No one inside the house was injured. There's no word on what caused the truck to travel off the road, WBTV reported.
