Man wanted for Virginia homicide found living in Charlotte
A Virginia homicide suspect was tracked down in in east Charlotte on Tuesday and arrested by the United States Marshals Service.
Karseem Mareese Wilson, 39, was located late Tuesday while a passenger in a car at the Intown Suites, 9211 East Independence Boulevard, officials said.
He was taken into custody without incident and charged with a homicide that occurred May 2016 in Danville, Virginia, officials said. He is held Wednesday in the Mecklenburg County Jail pending extradition to Virginia.
Investigators said they made the arrest after hearing that Wilson might be living in the Charlotte area.
