Gaston County Police arrest man on exploiting of minor in child porn case
Gaston County Police have charged Cody Alexander Fleming, 110 Sunny Ln, Cherryville, with five counts of Third Degree Sexual Exploitation of a Minor.
The 24 year old man was arrested after a weeks long investigation focused on the downloading and sharing of digital images.
The Gaston County Police Department is a member of the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) task force, which assists local and state law enforcement agencies with their investigative response to offenders who use the internet, online communication, or other computer technology to sexually exploit children.
Fleming was arrested Sept. 21 and received a $25,000 dollar unsecured bond. The investigation continues and anyone with information is asked to contact Detective W.M. Sampson at 704-866-3320 or Crimestoppers at 704-861-8000.
