Live updates: Charlotte's fourth night of protests

Protesters were out on the streets of Charlotte Friday in response to Tuesday’s fatal shooting of an African-American man, 43-year-old Keith Lamont Scott, by a police officer in the University City area.

Protests turned violent Wednesday, but remained peaceful Thursday and Friday.

Earlier Thursday, a video of the shooting by Scott’s wife, Rakeyia Scott, was released.
