Charlotte/Mecklenburg County
City and Mecklenburg County offices will open at noon Tuesday.
All bus and rail lines are operating, including Special Transportation Services. Passengers should prepare for delays.
Collection of garbage and recyclables will begin at noon Tuesday.
Libraries are closed Tuesday.

Closing one hour early Tuesday, at 8 p.m.

Wednesday’s run has been canceled. The taproom will be open from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
Facebook has canceled its plans Tuesday for an event teaching small-business owners in Lincolnton how to achieve success on the social network. A similar event in Concord on Wednesday is scheduled to go on as planned.
Shakespeare Competition, Wingate University
The event has been postponed.
