Man dies in single-car wreck in Kannapolis

A 43-year-old man died in a single-car wreck on Lane Street in Kannapolis on Tuesday afternoon.

The car was westbound when it left the road and hit a telephone pole, city spokeswoman Annette Privette Keller said. Police are reconstructing the wreck to determine the cause, she said. The man’s name will be released once his family is notified.
