Suspect sought in robbery of Charlotte convenience store
The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department’s armed robbery unit is seeking public help in a suspect who robbed a convenience store on Saturday.
The suspect entered Franklins Fast Stop, 10100 Moores Chapel Rd., at 2:48 a.m. Saturday. He implied he had a firearm and demanded property from the business, then fled in an unknown direction.
The black man is in his mid-40’s, stands about 5 feet 10 inches and weighs 220 pounds, police say. He was last seen wearing a green hoodie with “CCUS” on the front and white shorts.
