What’s open, closed on Thanksgiving

Here’s what’s open, closed Thursday for Thanksgiving:

Post office: Closed.

State offices: Closed Thursday and Friday.

Federal offices: Closed.

Banks: Closed.

ABC stores: Closed.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools: Closed Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Mecklenburg County offices: Closed Thursday and Friday.

Mecklenburg trash pickup: Solid Waste administrative offices and all facilities will be closed. City of Charlotte Solid Waste Services will provide no collection services. Thursday customers will receive service on Friday. Friday customers will receive service on Saturday.

Libraries: Closed.

CATS: Bus routes, Lynx Blue Line and CityLynx will operate according to their Sunday schedules. No express service will operate on Thursday. Routes 590-Northlake and 591-Archdale will run on their regular schedules. On Friday, bus routes, the Lynx Blue Line and CityLynx will operate according to their Saturday schedules. No express service will operate on Friday. On Thursday and Friday, CATS Pass Sales Offices at the CTC and the CATS Call Center will be closed.
