Murder-suicide suspected in deaths of two Lincoln County women

A Lincoln County sheriff’s deputy who went to a Denver home Monday to serve an eviction notice found both residents dead.

Investigators believe the two women who lived in the 3000 block of Madison Lane were victims of a murder and suicide. Both in their 50s, one woman was found in the home’s living room and the other in a bedroom.

It could not be determined how long the women had been dead, detectives said. Their names were not released as officials notify their next of kin.
