Harrisburg Road closed several hours due to downed power lines

Harrisburg Road was shut down at 6 a.m. near First Run Court due to an accident with downed power lines, reports Charlotte-Mecklenburg police.

The road will be closed for several hours, officials said.

The crash site is just north of the Harrisburg Soccer Sports Complex in the Silverwood community.

Some sites in the area are reportedly without power due to the crash.
