N.C. National Guard drills planned for Charlotte area this weekend

N.C. National Guard drills are planned for this weekend in several areas around Charlotte, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Emergency Management announced. The city, county and other local towns are partnering in the drills. People may see armed military personnel near the Franklin Water Treatment Plant on Brookshire Boulevard, the U.S. National Whitewater Center and uptown Charlotte. Adam Bell
