Debris spills onto I-85 southbound in Charlotte, closing 3 lanes
Three of five lanes are closed on Interstate 85 southbound near Statesville Avenue in Charlotte on Wednesday morning after metal debris spilled onto the highway after a wreck.
The right three lanes could remain closed until 10:30 a.m., according to the state Department of Transportation.
The wreck happened at about 8:20 a.m.
