Salisbury teen charged with murder

Salisbury police said Wednesday they have charged a 19-year-old with murder in connection to a fatal shooting at an apartment complex in January.

Jayquan Kyon Hamilton, of E. Henderlite Street, was arrested at 1:45 p.m. Wednesday, police said.

He is charged in the shooting death of Oscar Miguel Aguilera, 24, early on Jan. 19 behind the 700 building of Lakewood Apartments.

Hamilton is being held in the Rowan County Detention Center without bond.
