A pedestrian was hospitalized after being struck in Indian Trail Sunday evening.

Stallings police say a pedestrian under age 18 was hit on Lawyers Road at Hawthorne Drive.

EMS treated and transported the girl but did not release the extent of her injuries.

The entrance to Emerald Lake Drive was closed for a time.
