Former Gov. Martin to sign book on faith, science

Former N.C. Gov. Jim Martin will sign copies of his new book, “Revelation Through Science,” at 7 p.m. Thursday at Park Road Books, 4139 Park Road in Charlotte.

Before his political career, Martin taught chemistry at his alma mater, Davidson College. He also has a doctoral degree in chemistry from Princeton University.

In his book, Martin – the son of a Presbyterian minister – argues that science is an ally, not an enemy, of religion.
