Moped driver dies in South Boulevard wreck

A moped driver was killed after he was struck by one or two vehicles while traveling south in the 6400 block of South Boulevard Saturday night, Charlotte-Mecklenburg police Capt. Brian Foley said.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene, Medic reported.

The wreck happened about 8:15 p.m. Foley said CMPD’s major crash investigation unit will release more details about the wreck. Joe Marusak
