Police in Gastonia are looking for someone responsible for slashing tires on several cars over the weekend.
The vandalism was reported Sunday morning from residents who lived on eight different streets in Gastonia, according to an incident report.
Police took more than 32 reports from victims who woke up and found their tires damaged, according to WBTV.
Some victims reported having tires damaged on multiple cars, police spokeswoman Donna Lasher told the Observer on Thursday.

Brendon Surber, a manager at a local repair shop who offered victims a repair discount, told WBTV the damage to the tires was consistent on each car, with one inch wide cuts “stabbed through the side” of the tires.
Kelly Crawford discovered tire damage on both her and her husband’s car. She was so distraught over the incident, she told the Gaston Gazette she wants to move.
“We don’t feel safe with our cars being outside,” Crawford said.
Police have not identified a suspect as of Thursday. Lasher said the case is marked “inactive,” meaning it can’t be investigated further without additional information being brought forward.
