DMV services restored in NC after fiber optic cable cut
A cut in a fiber optic cable shut down Internet service at DMV offices across North Carolina, state transportation officials said Wednesday. The DOT announced that services were restored around 5 p.m.

It was not immediately clear what caused the cable cut.
