Train hits, kills pedestrian in northeast Charlotte
A train hit and killed a pedestrian in northeast Charlotte on Friday night.
The pedestrian was hit at Old Concord Road and McLean Road shortly after 9 p.m., Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police said. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.
Drivers should use an alternate route and avoid the area, police said.
