Man charged in September north Charlotte murder
A man was arrested Friday for the September shooting death of a man in north Charlotte.
Reginald Bernard Wilson, 30, faces a charge of first degree murder in 31-year-old Jonathan Dominique Cauthen’s death, Charlotte-Mecklenburg police said.
Police were called to the 2200 block of Catherine Simmons Avenue shortly before 3 a.m. Sept. 28, where they found Cauthen shot. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officials identified Wilson as the suspect after an investigation, police said. He also face a charge of possession of firearm by felon.
