Charlotte weather: Unseasonably warm and humid Thursday
Charlotte will remain unseasonably warm Thursday, with an expected high of 84 degrees under partly sunny skies and only a 30 percent threat of thunderstorms.
The warm and humid conditions will persist through Thursday night, ahead of a cold front that will cross the region Friday and likely bring an organized line of storms .
Locally damaging winds and large hail could accompany the front, according to the National Weather Service in Greenville-Spartanburg, S.C.
Friday has a 60 percent chance of thunderstorms, with a forecast high of 81.
Clear, sunny skies will return Saturday with a more mild high of 74 expected.
Sunday is forecast to remain partly sunny with a high of 73.
