Charlotte traffic: Multi-vehicle wreck on Independence

One person was taken to Carolinas Medical Center with life threatening injuries from a multi-vehicle wreck on East Independence Boulevard at Sharon Forest Drive Thursday morning.
Another motorist was taken to the hospital with minor injuries, Medic reported.
The wreck happened at 7:25 a.m. and involved a pin-in, Medic said. The wreck happened about 7:25 a.m.
