Body found in Fort Mill near Lancaster County, sheriff’s office says
A dead body was found before 12:30 p.m. in Fort Mill Thursday.
Workers in a water testing area nearby found the body off Dobys Bridge near the Lancaster County line, York County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Trent Faris said.
Faris said the body was found on a rocky area near the creek.
The York County Coroner’s Office has not yet released the person’s identity.
