A pedestrian died early Saturday after being struck by multiple vehicles in west Charlotte, and police are looking for the driver of one of the cars.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg police officers responded to the 3800 block of Billy Graham Parkway at 3:46 a.m. Saturday. A Dodge Charger had initially hit the pedestrian, who police said ran into the path of the car. The victim, who has not been identified, was flung into the middle lane of Billy Graham Parkway after the impact.
The driver of the Dodge immediately stopped his car and called police.
While the pedestrian’s body was in the street, a Cadillac ran over the body and swerved in front of a Ford Fusion. The Ford Fusion collided with the rear of the Cadillac and immediately stopped, police said.
