The surefire touchdown that Atlanta Falcon Julio Jones lost Sunday in a game against the Carolina Panthers has become one of the hottest trends on social media.

It’s called #DoTheJulio, and participants are posting pictures of themselves lying face down on the ground, floor, furniture, streets, sidewalks...you name it.

All are mimicking the moment that Jones watched the ball fly into his awaiting arms, only to see it bobble and fall to the ground in the end zone. Jones did the same, face first.

Children have become among the biggest participants, based on photos posted on Twitter, but adults are having a little fun, too, including the staff of the Observer’s news partner WBTV.
