Pedestrian reportedly hit and killed on East Independence in Matthews
A pedestrian was reportedly hit and killed by a car on East Independence Boulevard in Matthews late Wednesday, Observer news partner WBTV reported.

Inbound lanes remained closed shortly before midnight at Highway 51, WSOC-TV reported.
