Charlotte traffic: Multiple accidents reported

Several accidents had been reported on Charlotte roads as of 7:15 a.m., according to police reports:

▪ 6:04 a.m. accident with injury at South Tryon Street and Sandy Porter Road.

▪ 6:47 a.m. accident at 7709 Creekridge Road.

▪ 6:47 a.m. accident at Sardis Road and Sardis Road North.

▪ 7:07 a.m. accident at Owen Boulevard and North Tryon Street.

There was also a road blockage reported at Providence and Kuykendall roads.

Traffic was also building throughout the region.

And this is the first day back from spring break for Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, so commuters can expect school traffic as well.
