Argument inside Little Tokyo restaurant in Albemarle leads to shooting

A man reportedly showed up to a hospital after being shot in the abdomen at an Albemarle restaurant Friday.

The victim and the alleged shooter were arguing inside the Little Tokyo Lounge on U.S. 52 North, according to the Albemarle Police Department. A short time later, the man was shot on Ross Drive, officers said.

Police said the argument led to the shooting.

No arrests have been made. Officers did not release any information on the extent of the victim’s injuries.
